This is one of my final drawings of a series of hundreds. I had been exuberantly pushing myself to learn to draw properly after falling into a phase of admiration for the aesthetics of comic book characters art style. It is one of the first faces I had attempted to perfect and so I may be perceiving it as greater than it actually is due to the work that went before it.

This is an image of a great piece of Architecture by Frank Gehry. He was the architect and director for this project. He was encouraged to make the design daring and innovative so he made the curves appear to be random. He said "the randomness of the curves designed to catch the light".
An Original Photograph of Something Beautiful
The University of Auckland Clock Tower
This is an original photograph of something beautiful. A significant part of the University of Auckland history. When designed was at the cutting edge of architecture in the 1920's with its basis being Art Nouveau architecture. The floor itself is a world class example of mosaic work that picks up on the current coloration's of nature(green and blue hues). The entire building works to complement nature shown through its sculptures of New Zealand animals and plants.
